Camino ~ Triacastela to Barbadelo

Day 8 … Sunday, 9 August 2015

To celebrate Singapore’s National Day, I passed the 200km mark and had a nice dinner with new friends from Spain, Hungary, Korea and Portugal.

Today I’ve stopped counting how far I walked or spent each day. Even stopped looking at the guidebook.

Getting used to the Way and learn to take each day at a time, keep walking and live each moment. I would have said enjoy each moment but I would be lying.

It’s tough on the feet and legs but walking in this part of Spain is very pleasant. Tree lined paths, soft earth and moss covered stone walls make it very cool throughout the day. Almost felt like being in a Hans Christian fairy tale and that feels really nice.

Didn’t get much writing done today but to make up for the lack of words, here are some photos to share.
